The Reisgids of the Consumentenbond (consumer-protection group) is an influential independent magazine for holiday planning in the Netherlands. The editors tested the hotels of the VVV-Wadhoppen arrangements in 2006. In the May/June edition 2007 they present Dit Eiland as an inspiring alternative: a small-scaled designhotel "where contemporary art is everywhere"!

Esta made a selection of 12 Dutch design hotels and presents us among jewels like The Dylan, Lute, La Bergère, Rikkerda and De Orangerie.

Dit Eiland was also presented in Feeling's "weekendgids 2006" as one of 50 phenomenal adresses to stay in Europe. Ameland next to London, Antverp, Cologne and Paris...!

The beautiful Droomhotel (Dreamhotel - 25 exceptional hotels in the Netherlands and Belgium) presents Dit Eiland in an inspired article by Janneke Vreugdenhil.
