Now in the gallery | Ik ben een boom (I´m a tree)

When you consider Warffemius´s work, he seems to have divested his visual element entirely of interest and any methaphoric significance. This art gives spectators the impression that the artist finds sufficient inspiration in the form as such. The assumption arises because the visual element is given shape with the same concentration and love time and time again on canvas, on paper, or in a 3D form.

The artist touches on mysteries that present themselves almost every day and that you often take for granted all too easily.
